Introduction to Networks and the Internet

What: Teachers will learn the basic networking concepts to get them started in the classroom.  Topics will include the different computer parts, different networking devices and their use, and networking protocols. These lessons are from the Garden State Cyber Curriculum.

Who: Led by Mr. Jeremy Milonas, a Computer Science teacher at Red Bank Regional HS. He has taught a wide range of computing subjects including Cybersecurity and Digital Forensics. Jeremy has helped lead GenCyber Jersey Blues Summer Camp and has been part of the CSNJ Advocacy Committee. In 2015 Jeremy was the NJ Air Force Associations Teacher of the Year and in 2022 won the National CyberPatriot Coach of the Year award.
