The FDU CS Hub will be holding a summer symposium on the 2020 NJSLS-CS Standards on June 28, 2022 9:30 AM – 3:30 PM. The event is in-person and will be held at Fairleigh Dickinson University’s Florham Campus in Madison NJ (285 Madison Ave, Madison NJ) in Lenfell Hall and is open to all NJ teachers.

This event is part of a NJ-DOE funded program for enhancing computer science education for all students in the state of New Jersey by means of creating the CS-HUB @ FDU. The event is organized by the Department of Mathematics and Computer Science at FDU's Florham Campus in collaboration with FDU's STEM Institute of Education.

1. All current CS-HUB @ FDU participants will receive $100.00 and the first 75 new educators or pre-service teachers to register for the symposium will receive $200.00 as a stipend. You must attend the entire symposium to receive the stipend.

2. All participants will receive

* a certificate for PD hours

* get access to the K-12 CS repository containing a wealth of information, along with curricula materials and numerous lesson plans

* opportunity to connect with experts in the field of Artificial Intelligence, Data Analytics, and Cybersecurity

3. One registration per person. If a colleague of yours would like to register as well, please provide his/her registration information.

4. This symposium is meant first and foremost for educators and pre-service teachers. Please register using an email issued from the school at which you teach. If you are not an educator (industry, high school/college student, hobbyist) and you are interested in attending, call 973.443.8680. If the workshop does not fill to capacity by the registration deadline (1 week prior), members of this list will be contacted for registration.
