Stipends
CSPDWeek is part of a larger, Expanded CSPDWeek project led by CSTA and funded by the US Department of Education's Education Innovation and Research (EIR) program. As part of this new project we are able to offer stipends for participation, ongoing support through PLC's during the 2024-2025 academic year, and expanded program options. We also may ask you to participate in surveys, focus groups, or other evaluation items as part of the program - thank you in advance for your support with these items. You have to apply first before completing this registration.
New Jersey K-12 public school educators are eligible to receive a stipend for their participation in CSPDWeek and follow up professional learning throughout the year. The stipend will be awarded in two payments, the first stipend of $900 for completion of all pre-work and attendance at all program sessions during CSPDWeek August 5 - 8, 2024 and will be paid by end of November 2024. The second stipend of up to $480 is for participation in 16 hours of ongoing PD and PLC meetings, and more information will be provided during CSPDWeek. Attendees will receive (at least) 28 PD hours for participation in the summer experience. You have to apply first before completing this registration.
New Jersey private school, higher education, PreK and pre-service teachers can attend but will not receive a stipend through the grant funded by the US Department of Education's Education Innovation and Research (EIR) program. Stipends may be provided through other New Jersey CS sources and paid volunteer opportunities may be available. Further information will be provided after acceptance into CSPDWeek. You still have to apply first before completing this registration.
