Nifty Lesson
Grades 3 - 8  micro:bit pet
Students create a microbit pet after they are randomly paired (adjusted as need) to interview each other on their pet needs and wants. Students code their partner's microbit animal facial expression, sound, and other features. Then using design coding standards the student designs the features of the animal or mythical creature, and creates an animal that can securely hold the microbit face. Students self evaluate their work and their partner's evaluate their work according to the needs assessment.
